The 2018 Western Australian Circus Festival is now over and plans for 2019 are underway.

Dates for the 2019 festival will be released soon.

The Festival

The Lunar Circus is proud to present the 2018 Western Australian Circus Festival to be held in Karridale, 30 kms south of Margaret River.  The festival runs from  Friday Jan 26th to Sunday 28th and is attended by about 3400 people, with this number growing each year.

It’s a full three day weekend of circus, cabaret, comedy, music and public participation workshops running from 12am to midnight.

The 2018 event will be held under The new Lunar Sensation, the Lunar Big Top, the Little Top,the Bus station Venue, “The Pink Flamingo”, outdoor stages and the Dr Reg Bolton Bar. It includes arenas for circus, music, street theatre, stand up comedy, puppetry and a circus cinema. The kids’ workshops tent keeps the kids captivated and everyone has the opportunity to fly on the big trapeze.

It’s a fabulous atmosphere and our stallholders usually report good business.

Bring along your wares and join in the fun!

Conditions

It is very important to us that all 3 days of the festival are equally vibrant, therefore it is a condition of booking a market stall that you trade during all three days of the festival.  Evening trading is optional.

It’s not good for the festival or for the other market vendors when a stall dismantles part way through the event, therefore we don’t accept one or two day stalls.

To help ensure that this condition is met, we charge a $150 bond which will be returned at 7pm on the last day of the festival if you have traded throughout the festival.

Food stalls must have applicable health permits, but please note that as we sell food onsite we don’t necessarily approve every food stall.

All stalls must have public liability insurance.

How Much

Markets stalls are $150 for a 3×3 unpowered site for the three-day event, plus the $150 bond. This includes two weekend festival passes valued at $100 each.

Powered sites are $200 (plus bond), also including two weekend festival passes.

Food and Beverage stall costs vary between $300 and $400 (plus bond) depending on power use and size. This also includes two weekend festival passes. Please note, passes are non-transferable

Camping

Camping is onsite.  We provide tent sites and toilets. You need to bring your own shade, tent and sleeping gear etc. There will be affordable, tasty food available onsite prepared by our fantastic circus chefs.

Please be aware that parking/camping is away from stalls. Cars must be offsite by 10am on the last day of the festival and arrival on the first day will be from midday on the Thursday 25th January 2018 or Friday morning 26th January.

If you have any questions, please contact us.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2018 Western Australian Circus Festival!
